Return Policy

Note By Khamir

Before you return a Khamir product, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by traditional craft persons in rural Kutch, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other.

Let's not think of an irregular weave or print or a stitch as a defect. Handloom by definition means a glorious uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.

In spite of these variables, at Khamir we stand behind the quality of our products and we will replace the product free of cost if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason. Please read below our return & exchange policies before you return any item.

International Orders

  1. If your goods are damaged or if you receive an incorrect product, or if you’re simply not satisfied with what you have received, we would be happy to give you the following alternative:
    a. Exchange the goods for an alternative of your choice of equal value
    b. Give you a full refund for the price you paid for the goods

  2. Products that are eligible for a return, can be returned within 10 days of receiving the merchandise. Customers will have to ship the returnable products themselves via a COD courier service. If not, we will refund the shipping charges.  

  3. Please ensure that the returned merchandise is unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and is in a salable condition. We request you to maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned, including the KHAMIR tags.

  4. Please ensure that all the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.  

  5. In the case of exchanges, your new order will be dispatched to you within 3-5 business days after we receive the earlier shipment.

  6. In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should email us (orders@khamir.orga photo of the damaged product with the Bar Code within 48 hours of receiving your order. 

  7. Customers can only return non-returnable products if there are defects and deficiencies in the Product (attributable to, and accepted by KHAMIR after due verification at its sole discretion) or if such Non-returnable Products are delivered late (except in case of force majeure including COVID-19). The User shall return such non-returnable products not later than 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery of the product.

  8. Not all products are eligible for returns. In order to maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as keep our prices fair, many items are "Final Sale." Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.

  9. The KHAMIR team must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is received and approved, you will have to courier it to us by any nearest courier service.

  10. Once your return has been authorized, we'd be happy to process your refund. You can choose to receive the refund in the form of store credit, which will reflect in your KHAMIR account within 24 working hours from when the product is picked up by our courier partner. However, if you'd like to receive the amount back to the same payment mode that you used to place this order, we will initiate the refund after we receive the item and it has gone through the necessary quality checks. 

  11. We aim to process all returns within one (1) week 

While KHAMIR has made reasonable endeavors to ensure delivery and pick-ups across multiple locations in India, currently, KHAMIR has a select list of areas where deliveries and collection can be undertaken by its reverse logistics partners. 

In events where KHAMIR is unable to facilitate a pick-up of the purchased Product for return from the User, the User is required to self-ship the Product to KHAMIR’s shipping warehouse, the address for which will be intimated to the customer upon placing such request for return. Upon self-shipping the Product to KHAMIR’s warehouse, the customer shall be required to scan the courier/postal receipt to KHAMIR for KHAMIR’s records. The aforesaid return by self-shipping the Products is subject to the returned products passing quality check at KHAMIR’s returns desk/warehouse.

In the event where the customer claims to have self-shipped the Product in accordance with the process set out in paragraph 7 above and KHAMIR does not receive the returned product or the package containing such product is empty, the User shall be required to submit the ‘proof of delivery’ received from the courier/postal agency to KHAMIR to prove his/her claim of return of Products through self-shipment to KHAMIR. It is specifically clarified that any refunds shall be processed by KHAMIR only upon receiving the returned Products and concluding required quality checks or receiving the ‘proof of delivery’ from the User, as the case may be.

Shipping charges for self-shipping will not be refunded and customers are required to pay for the shipping costs to return the goods to the applicable return address if the pin code is out of the pickup location.

Note: - Some of the pin codes are not feasible for reverse pick-up, in such cases the customer will need to send it back to us. Please note we do not offer reverse pick facilities outside India.

Cancellation Policy

If the cancellation request is received after your product has been shipped, you can do one of the following:

1. If your product has shipped but has not yet been delivered, contact Customer Support and inform them of the same. We will recall the parcel.

2. If you received the product, inform us, we'll get it picked up under standard return/replacement procedures mentioned above on this page.

Cancellation requests will be accepted strictly within 24 hours of placing the order only. A customer is permitted to fully or partially cancel orders prior to its dispatch from KHAMIR.



In all events of cancellation prior to the dispatch of the purchased Products, KHAMIR shall initiate refunds within 2 (two) business days from the date on which it received the request from the customer.

If your order contains products sold in SALE, we would not accept any returns/exchange/replacement requests. Sale products are a final sale only.
