Mythical Clay toys

This is inspired from toy forms found on Dholavira site of Indus Valley Civilisation. 

This collection is recreated by the female potters of in Kutch, Gujarat who have been nurtured over a year by Khamir to make these forms. A lump of clay is taken and all the limbs and heads are projected from the same lump. You will find almost no extra additions except for eyes. The peices have been kept raw as inspired from excavations and fired in a tradition wood kiln fed by wood rejects .
