Like every child of a weaver's family, Ramji Bhai also opened his eyes to the weaving craft. As it was a traditional craft of his family, he learned weaving while playing on looms with his father and grandfather. Ramji bhai's family originally belongs to Ningad village near Anjar in Kutch. His previous generations weaved for local Ahir and Rabari communities and master artisans.
